Fall-Winter 2017 Men's pre-collection - a collaboration between Men’s Artistic Director Kim Jones and Hiroshi Fujiwara.

The design inspiration for Louis Vuitton's 2017 Fall-Winter Men's pre-collection comes from the hip-hop movement that spread throughout the United States in the 1980s, fused with the American preparatory school (Preppy) style championed by New York pop artist Keith Haring, together with the Ivy League Look.

To diversify this season's street style, Louis Vuitton has invited Japanese designer Hiroshi Fujiwara to collaborate on the design for several pieces in the collection. In the 1980s, Fujiwara Hiroshima visited New York for the first time and brought the first hip-hop and streetwear trends back to Tokyo, becoming a pioneer of Japanese street fashion culture. He founded Fragment Design, a byword of cool style and stylish design for Japanese youth, and has been described as the "Fashion Godfather of Ura Harajuku".

The collection will be presold in mainland China's three flagship stores from April 28, including Shanghai Plaza 66, Chengdu IFC and Nanjing Deji Plaza. Official Global sales from May 5.
