ASIA'S FIRST AMERICA'S CUP RACING EVENT: THE LOUIS VUITTON AMERICA'S CUP WORLD SERIES IN FUKUOKA
Louis Vuitton has proudly supported the America’s Cup, and its unique blend of tradition and innovation, since 1983. This current Louis Vuitton America’s Cup World Series is a global series of events, involving all six challenging teams, leading up to the 35th America’s Cup in British Bermuda in June 2017.
The Series culminates with the three-day event in Fukuoka: a practice race on November 18th, followed by the final two-day race on the 19th and 20th. In Celebration of this event, Louis Vuitton Fukuoka store now has a new faҫade, to reflect the America’s Cup universe. Also, special items from the Louis Vuitton America’s Cup collection are available.
Furthermore, Louis Vuitton is planning a special exhibition around the victory trophy, open from 2 PM to 5 PM daily from November 12th to 16th (Saturday through Wednesday). The trophy will be encased in a unique Louis Vuitton travel case, the creation of three artisans and over 400 hours of labor at the Louis Vuitton workshop in the Parisian suburb of Asnières.
