After opening its first store in the German capital thirty years ago in 1986, the luxury brand is now officially about to reveal the face of its newest store. Set in a historic building on Kurfürstendamm at number 185, Louis Vuitton's loyalty to this highly prestigious avenue in Berlin spans three decades.
The building and its interior were designed by New York architect Peter Marino. The interior space is flooded with light so, with every step, the visitor is immersed further into the exclusive heritage and craftsmanship of the Maison.
The new store will display all men's and women's collections: leather goods, ready-to-wear, accessories and small leather goods, shoes, watches and jewellery. A section of the floor space will be dedicated to travel, a key element of the business since 1854, and will showcase the most up-to-date luggage items such as the iconic Keepall and the Horizon - the innovative, wheeled case for the cosmopolitan traveller of the 21st century. The product offer is being extended with a new universe: Les Parfums Louis Vuitton, created by the brand’s master perfumer Jacques Cavallier Belletrud.
