Louis Vuitton is opening its “LOUIS VUITTON X FRAGMENT POP-UP STORE” from April 21st (Friday) to May 5th (Friday) 2017 at the "The Mass & Ba-tsu Art Gallery” in Harajuku, Tokyo. The pop-up store premieres a selection of the Fall-Winter 2017 Men's pre-collection - a collaboration between Men’s Artistic Director Kim Jones and Hiroshi Fujiwara.
“Hiroshi Fujiwara is an influencer in the truest sense of the word – he is a true icon of mine,” says Kim Jones, the Men’s Artistic Director of Louis Vuitton. “With this collaboration, I wanted to do something quite unexpected, something perhaps more youthful than we usually do. Hiroshi has that understanding of detail that comes from Japan – he simply knows everything,” explains Kim Jones, Men’s Artistic Director at Louis Vuitton.
On the night before the opening, guests gathered for a cocktail party at the LOUIS VUITTON X FRAGMENT POP-UP STORE, which echoes this season's inspirations and the partnership between Louis Vuitton and Fragment Design.
Invited guests were Hiroshi Fujiwara, VERBAL, Takumi Saitoh, Ryo Narita, Issey Takahashi, Kozue Akimoto, Jun Murakami.
