Louis Vuitton’s latest Travel Book dedicated to Seoul comes alive through Google Lens.

By connecting immersive digital content to physical images on paper, Google’s augmented reality technology allows Louis Vuitton to bring its newest Travel Book to life in an entirely new way.

Coinciding with the opening of the Maison Seoul flagship, the Travel Book Seoul was illustrated by Icinori as an affectionate tribute to this ageless city. A selection of the design duo’s picturesque pages come alive when scanned using the Google Lens mobile app. The cover itself shows the Changing of the Royal Guard at the Deoksuggung Palace, a traditional ceremony still maintained today. Four other pages (shown above) also hide content only accessible using Google Lens: Character Gallery, Bulgogi, Printers, Louis Vuitton Maison Seoul by Frank Gehry.

How to use Google Lens:
1. Download the Google Lens app from the Google Play Store (Android) or the Google app from the App Store (iOS)
2. Open Lens (Android) or open the Google app and tap the Lens logo on the right (iOS)
3. Point the camera as one of these five images and wait until it comes alive.
