This year, British Vogue turns 100. To celebrate its centenary, this May, Louis Vuitton New Bond Street Maison is paying homage and has adapted its window scheme to wish the magazine a very happy birthday – and what says happy birthday more than a birthday cake complete with flickering candles? In Louis Vuitton’s new interactive windows, especially designed for the occasion, the large-scale display will be made up of several digital screens with each one featuring a lit candle. Via motion sensors in the windows, as soon as someone passes by, every candle will flicker. Make a birthday wish, walk by the New Bond Street Maison and blow the candles from 5th –19th May.

Louis Vuitton will travel to Rio de Janeiro, Brazil to mark its third Cruise collection presentation.
The Cruise collection will be held on Saturday 28th May in an exclusive setting: the Niterói Contemporary Art Museum (MAC). A landmark building in Brazil, designed by celebrated Brazilian architect Oscar Niemeyer.
The iconic building, shaped like a flying saucer that looks like it has landed on the side of a hill overlooking Guanabara Bay, facing Rio, was built in 1991 and inaugurated in 1996. The white modernist structure is reflected in a pool surrounding its cylindrical base, “like a flower”, as the famed architect described it. The Louis Vuitton Cruise presentation marks the first time the museum has ever hosted a fashion show and also serves as an occasion to celebrate the museum’s 20th anniversary and its reopening to the public following a major renovation project.
"Following the Bob and Dolores Hope estate designed by John Lautner in Palm Springs, California, we continue the architectural journey that is so particular to the Maison Louis Vuitton" explains Nicolas Ghesquière, Artistic Director of Women’s Collections at Louis Vuitton.
The Louis Vuitton Cruise show will be broadcast live on May 28th on www.louisvuitton.com. #LVCRUISE

Evocative of exotic and far away lands, Louis Vuitton introduces the new summer collection.
The "Tropical Journey" capsule collection takes us to paradise with lush nature-inspired prints.
This season, the Summer collection offers two new printed stories: the "Monogram Jungle", an iconic Monogram canvas twisted with a new print inspired by Californian landscapes and its emblematic palm trees and oasis. Also highlighted is the "Monogram Vernis Jungle", a Monogram patent leather covered with dots reminding of exotic animals fur.
These new prints are available on Louis Vuitton's iconic models such as Speedy and Neverfull, as well as accessories and shoes.

A selection of the top looks and details from the Louis Vuitton show.
In a futuristic show scenography, set outside the Fondation Louis Vuitton, dynamic heroines graced the catwalk between mirror-columns, inspired from French artist Justin Morin’s artwork «Melted Bones».
Alternately showing close-ups and slow motions, this short film pays tribute to the details that make Nicolas Ghesquiere's wardrobe immediately recognisable: leather jackets, fluid sensual dresses in scarf prints, mohair sweaters, zip-front moulded-hip jackets, gigantic pendant earrings, new bags, etc.
