• LOUIS VUITTON VISITS UTAH WITH NEW MEN'S RANGE

LOUIS VUITTON VISITS UTAH WITH NEW MEN'S RANGE - Louis Vuitton Fashion NEWS
The vast, natural beauty of the American West echoes through these versatile leather goods.

As the debut of the larger Canyon line of leather goods, the Utah collection draws on a rugged reference to arrive at refined designs that feel remarkably light. Masculine in attitude yet relaxed in form, the five supple models include a backpack with dimensional front pockets, two messenger versions inspired by postman bags, a briefcase, and an everyday travel bag.

Each presents a variation of smooth leather alternating with a textured leather featuring a fine cross-grain. A closer look at the construction confirms the Louis Vuitton savoir faire, whether the large raw cuts, or sturdy double stitching. Aged silver metallic finishing signals the Maison codes as a discreet gesture.

Offered in bleu marine and earthy marron, the series evokes breath-taking canyons where water courses throughout. A collection of small leather goods completes the range, with streamlined wallets finessed to fit with contemporary silhouettes. Altogether, the Utah range embodies classic craftsmanship and natural ease.

Louis Vuitton opens a new store inside the Rinascente, via del Tritone.

Louis Vuitton renews its bond with the Eternal City by inaugurating the Maison’s third store in the capital, after the ones in Via Condotti and Piazza San Lorenzo in Lucina.

Located inside the new Rinascente in Via del Tritone, the store rises in the heart of the main structure, within an early 1900s building called “Palazzetto”, a real palace within the palace. The façade of the Palazzetto, on which the store’s entrances and windows open, becomes an integrating and evocative part of the department store’s architecture.

A marvellously airy space acts as the frame to the entire range of accessories, leather goods, women’s and men’s shoes, travel accessories, fabrics and fragrances. Clients will be able to discover the newest products such as “My World Tour”, the collection of travel accessories, customizable with witty stickers and the owner’s initials, the “Horizon” trolley cases designed by Marc Newson and a limited edition shoe specially created for the Tritone Rome store.

Louis Vuitton unveils the second collection of bags and accessories designed with the world-renowned contemporary artist on October 27, 2017.

In recent years, Louis Vuitton has affirmed its engagement with the world of art through a series of high-profile collaborations with the most influential artists of our times. The second series of the Jeff Koons Masters collection builds on that well-established foundation, further exploring the intersection of fashion and art.

This month, Louis Vuitton will launch a second collection conceived with Jeff Koons. Recognized as one of the most influential living artists and based on the artist’s “Masters” series of paintings, this second chapter will debut on October 27 and will include: Reclining Girl by François Boucher; Delightful Land by Paul Gauguin; Luncheon on the Grass by Edouard Manet; Water Lilies by Claude Monet; The Triumph of Pan by Nicolas Poussin (exclusive for Maison Louis Vuitton Vendôme) and Ancient Rome by J.m.W. Turner.

This new set of paintings relates to Koons’ connection to each of the artists. “They are part of my DNA,” Koons says. “When somebody walks down the street with this bag, or sits in a cafe with this bag,” Koons says of the Manet Neverfull, “it’s communicating a love of humanism.”
