Louis Vuitton and the America’s Cup enjoy one of the longest partnerships in the world of sports (since 1983). For this 35th edition, the French Maison is renewing its commitment to the America’s Cup by becoming the title partner of the America’s Cup World Series, the America’s Cup Qualifiers and Challenger Playoffs, as well as the presenting partner of the America’s Cup Match.

Six teams have so far taken up the challenge of racing for the next America’s Cup. The defending champion is Oracle Team USA. The challengers are Emirates Team New Zealand, Artemis Racing (SWE), Ben Ainslie Racing (GBR), SoftBank Team Japan (JPN) and Team France.

For Louis Vuitton, this partnership represents more than simply supporting a great sporting event, it also reflects the trailblazing spirit that has characterized Louis Vuitton from its beginnings and still holds true today.

This opening is nother proud creative addition to China following the opening of Louis Vuitton Maison Shanghai in 2012. Since its entry into the Chinese market in 1992 by taking the foothold of Beijing, Louis Vuitton’s presence in China has lasted for over 20 years. Today, Beijing finally sees Louis Vuitton Maison settling down in the city reflecting Beijing’s unique symbolic significance for Louis Vuitton.

Louis Vuitton Maison Beijing is designed by renowned architect Peter Marino, in order to bring customers a new, elegant travel experience. Here in this new flagship store Louis Vuitton will display the harmony between art and travel, inviting Chinese travelers to initiate a journey into the House’s heritage, technical finesse and creativity.

The new Louis Vuitton store showcases a complete offer of women’s and men’s ready-to-wear, leather goods, shoes and accessories. These products show Louis Vuitton’s commitment to the finest craftsmanship, technical and stylistic inventiveness, using the highest quality materials and paying utmost attention to finishing touches.

Since 1854, Louis Vuitton proposes made-to-order and personalisation services to its clients. Linked to the Maison’s tradition of excellence in high quality leather craftsmanship, is the foundation for its newly enhanced bespoke offer. Staying true to its tradition of offering private and personalised services, an in-house concierge, will cater to clients’ requests, allowing them to cultivate their relationship with the Maison according to personal interests and points of view.

And for the first time in France, Louis Vuitton will also offer the possibility for clients to organize exclusive dinners inside a private ‘Apartment’ located above the store. The ‘Apartment’, composed of two salons and a reception area, will be available upon request.

Named after Michel de Montaigne, a writer of the French Renaissance, the Avenue Montaigne is considered to be la grande dame of French streets for luxury and fashion. Designed in the spirit of an elegant Parisian apartment and decorated in fine materials with original artworks by contemporary artists, the store hosted a cocktail party on Monday December 15th to celebrate the re-opening.
