    Louis Vuitton and Devialet unveil the DJ Trunk, enabling Phantom to travel the world.

    Designed for modern-day composers, the DJ Trunk was designed to allow DJs to travel with the necessary equipment for their performances: Phantom, turntable and vinyl recordings, mixer, computer and headphones.
    An extreme piece of engineering defying the laws of physics and protected by more than a hundred patents, Phantom has been shaking the world of audio since 2015. Emitting an ultra-dense sound with physical impact, it is the ultimate system. "Only Phantom could meet Louis Vuitton's requirements of a transportable product capable of delivering a powerful and immersive sound, allowing to experience true emotions at a live concert level from home... The DJ Trunk is the dream come true of an exceptional product combining high technology and unique and secular know-how" says Quentin Sannié, co-founder and CEO of Devialet.

    Handcrafted in Louis Vuitton’s historic workshops in Asnières near Paris, the DJ Trunk puts French know-how in the spotlight. Adorned in Monogram Eclipse canvas (a grey and black Monogram), with ruthenium metal accessories on the outside and dark grey microfiber on the inside.

    The DJ Trunk is on sale as a Special Order. Revealed in Shanghai before travelling the globe as is the long tradition of the Louis Vuitton trunks, it can be used for DJ sets with two trunks or as a listening unit for music and vinyls with one trunk.

  • TIME CAPSULE EXHIBITION IN SHANGHAI

    Louis Vuitton is pleased to announce the opening of its "Time Capsule" exhibition, from December 15th until January 9th, a curated selection from the Louis Vuitton archives.

    Time Capsule Exhibition will take place in Shanghai. With free entry for the public to the exhibition, Time Capsule begins with French artisans demonstrating traditional leatherwork skills that remain as relevant today as they have in the past century.  The exhibition then follows a visual timeline of landmark moments in the Louis Vuitton story, focusing on the charpter of Magic Malles and Travel themes.
    Visitors will enjoy unprecedented access to some of the most valuable pieces from the Louis Vuitton’s archives.

    Enjoy our new dedicated space with an exotic atmosphere for the Men Spring-Summer 2018 Pre-collection.

    The Louis Vuitton space of Rinascente Milano Piazza Duomo, located at the ground floor, changes again, presenting a new permanent concept dedicated to the Men Spring-Summer 2018 Pre-Collection, designed by Kim Jones.

    The store has a magical and exotic atmosphere, just like a lost paradise. On the walls coloured like a sunset, there are coconut palms that little monkeys try to reach. In the middle of the space, there is a small eMk6 electric car customized with tropical flowers together with the floral pattern of the Spring-Summer 2018 Louis Vuitton Pre-collection.

    The store's offer includes all Men product categories: ready-to-wear, accessories, leathergoods and shoes. Hawaii, with their traditional Aloha shirts, inspired the prints. The name "Louis Vuitton", along with the names of the cities in the world, becomes a slogan printed on t-shirts, shirts and textiles that underlines the link with the journey, which has always been part of the Maison's identity.
