On March 4th, 2018, the Oscars awards ceremony honored the best American films of 2017, in Los Angeles, California. On this occasion, Emma Stone was wearing a custom-made Duchess satin smoking, with shoes and high jewellery pieces, while Sandra Bullock arrived in a custom-made silk gown embroidered by hand with black and gold sequins, all specifically designed by the Louis Vuitton workshops.Film

On March 2nd, 2018, the César awards ceremony honored the best French movies of 2017, in Paris. On this occasion, Camélia Jordana, who won the award of the most promising actress, was wearing a black and pink silk jersey dress. Marina Foïs, who was nominated in the category of best actress, arrived in a Louis Vuitton gown embroidered with silver sequins. Celebrating a night of imaginative time travel through a visual journey, Louis Vuitton welcomed guests into Time Capsule Exhibition in Melbourne on February 23rd.
Guests travel gracefully through six immersive rooms, featuring hand selected objects and documents from the Louis Vuitton archives. Highlighting the ongoing technical innovations that Louis Vuitton employed to respond to the revolutionary inventions of the period, this exhibition builds a conversation between antique creations in direct dialogue with more contemporary pieces, showing a consistent desire of the brand to create and reinvent objects that are designed to anticipate the evolution of lifestyle needs and desires.
At the opening of Time Capsule Exhibition Melbourne, in partnership with Chadstone - The Fashion Capital, top celebrities and influencers including Amanda Shadforth, Scotty James, Jarrod Scott, Carmen Hamilton and Matt Wilson. toured the exhibition while enjoying the artisan craftsmanship and heritage of Louis Vuitton.
