On September 4th, 2017, Louis Vuitton opens its newly designed store in Munich's Oberpollinger department store.

Louis Vuitton is proud to announce the opening of its new store in the Oberpollinger department store. Nestled behind a custom-made indoor façade inspired by the iconic Monogram pattern, henceforth, the new store presents its offer to its clients at a new location inside the department store.

The pattern of the new indoor façade with its new façade concept is partially see-through. It is made of champagne metal and ivory painted ceramic, like a screen or a moucharabieh, the façade brings a specific and dedicated interaction between Louis Vuitton's store and the department store.

The new Munich store reflects a new and modern conceptual design, whose architecture and interior design are based on linear silhouettes and modern elements. Inspired by 1950s Italian design, the concept is thought of in modules, all linked by leathers belts and links impressively past and future – symbolizing the House's heritage and likewise its visions of futuristic design. The new space allows clients to step further into the savoir-faire and craftsmanship of the House.

All men's and women's collections will be displayed in the new store: leather goods, luggage, accessories, small leather goods and Les Parfums Louis Vuitton.

With its new travel case collection and in-store fragrance personalisation service, the Maison Louis Vuitton now celebrates the intimate bond that you share with your fragrance.

Louis Vuitton presents a new collection of travel cases, designed and crafted to transport your fragrance in all circumstances. Upholding the tradition and expertise of the Maison, they encase and protect the bottle in a luxurious holder that closes shut with the same latch featured on the trunks. In any Louis Vuitton store, you can have your initials hot-stamped onto your case made of Monogram canvas, natural leather or Épi leather – available in Black, White and Rose Ballerine, the iconic House signatures.

Your bottle can also be engraved with your initials, either in tone-on-tone or with a gold finish, creating a permanent and wholly personal emblem on the very glass. This additional personalisation service for the fragrance bottles is available in selected Louis Vuitton stores:

  • LOUIS VUITTON TRAVEL BOOK “MEXICO”

In his Travel Book, the French writer, illustrator and painter Nicolas de Crécy depicts Mexico as a baroque country full of poetry.

A writer, illustrator and painter who has been working for over twenty-five years, Nicolas de Crécy has created a multiform body of work, as poetic as it is unusual. His books, informed by philosophy, literature and Surrealism, come in varied graphic and stylistic forms that revisit genres (graphic novels, mangas, travel books, drawings, etc.) and techniques (ink, watercolour, pencil, gouache, pen, chalk, etc.).

Some panels of his Mexico Travel Book, packed with detail, call for colour, while others are simpler and drawn quickly and incisively with a ballpoint pen or black ink. Alternating them brings out the best in each. Nicolas de Crécy’s book is a reflection of the country: baroque, feverish and powerful.

A limited edition of the Travel Book, numbered and signed by the artist, is available in selected Louis Vuitton stores.
