On December 16th, 2016, Louis Vuitton officially opens its doors at Kurfürstendamm number 185, thereby remaining loyal to this prestigious boulevard over three decades.
After opening its first store in the German capital thirty years ago in 1986, the luxury brand is now officially about to reveal the face of its newest store. Set in a historic building on Kurfürstendamm at number 185, Louis Vuitton's loyalty to this highly prestigious avenue in Berlin spans three decades.
The building and its interior were designed by New York architect Peter Marino. The interior space is flooded with light so, with every step, the visitor is immersed further into the exclusive heritage and craftsmanship of the Maison.
The new store will display all men's and women's collections: leather goods, ready-to-wear, accessories and small leather goods, shoes, watches and jewellery. A section of the floor space will be dedicated to travel, a key element of the business since 1854, and will showcase the most up-to-date luggage items such as the iconic Keepall and the Horizon - the innovative, wheeled case for the cosmopolitan traveller of the 21st century. The product offer is being extended with a new universe: Les Parfums Louis Vuitton, created by the brand’s master perfumer Jacques Cavallier Belletrud.

Louis Vuitton opens pop-up store in TSUM department store in celebration of the launch of Les Parfums Louis Vuitton.
The House will present its collection of fragrances in ephemeral space, inviting guests to discover this new universe describing a journey of the emotions. From the airiness of "Rose des Vents" to the intoxicating "Turbulences", the ecstasy of a first night with "Dans la Peau" to the mindful immersion in nature with "Apogée"; from the self-revealing "Contre Moi" to an exploration of a darker side with "Matière Noire" and the explosion of the senses with "Mille Feux"…
The iconic Damier pattern which will adorn the counters, showcases a classical yet very modern interpretation of Louis Vuitton' signatures.
Fragrances are deeply rooted in the House's heritage. Louis Vuitton returns to its roots 70 years after its last olfactory signatures, such as "Je, tu, il" and "Heures d’Absence", created in the late 20s. The fragrance savoir-faire has been revived with the help of Master Perfumer Jacques Cavallier Belletrud to reinvent a true craft and cultivate it over a long period of time.
