Louis Vuitton is pleased to announce the reopening of its store in Florence, Italy, after renovations.
Louis Vuitton reinforces its presence in the city of Florence by inaugurating a renovated store in the heart of the city, on the prestigious Piazza Strozzi. The architecture of the store could be considered in it of itself a masterpiece through the recreation of the space's historical volumes, prints, and decorations, all taken from original photos dating back to 1865 of the building that houses the store. The central staircase, visible from the front door, is a work of art and a feat of design: its handrail is completely covered with leather in a deep Florentine blue color that has been renowed since the Renaissance and by the Medici family.
The renovated store now features a fantastic collection of vintage art pieces and furnishings. The finishes of the store have been carefully selected, paying great attention to the materials that nod to Italian traditions. The selection of artists who created the pieces in the store is international: Marius D. Keppler, Massimo Listri and other artists of the 1950's and 1970's. Inside the store, the customer can find the complete range of ready-to-wear, accessories, leather goods, women's and men's shoes, travel items, textiles, watches, jewelery and fragrances, as well as the Louis Vuitton Objets Nomades Collection which makes its debut in Florence.Store Florence Opening
