After Capri, Saint-Tropez, Hawaii, and Rome, Prague was chosen as this year’s destination for Louis Vuitton to unveil the latest High Jewelry Collection. Continuing a tradition of offering once-in-a-lifetime experiences that immerse guests in the Collection’s inspiration, the Maison chose the Prague Castle to premiere the exceptional news pieces that make up the Riders of the Knights Collection. A historical landmark and UNESCO monument, the Prague Castle consists of palaces and ecclesiastical buildings of various architectural styles, from the Romanesque to the Gothic. This architecture provides an appropriate backdrop for the Riders of the Knights Collection, which pays tribute to heroines from medieval times and achieves an immersive aesthetic drawing from medieval codes of chivalry and heraldic crests.

To celebrate the Time Capsule exhibit in Chengdu, Louis Vuitton hosted an opening event for guests including Shi Zhan, Fu Jing, Bai Jing Ting, Qi Wei and Lee Seung Hyun among others.
From the beginning, Louis Vuitton has been defined by a pioneering spirit, a spirit that the city of Chengdu also embodies. Since 1997, when the “Louis Vuitton Exhibition 1997-1998” opened there, Chengdu has been one of the country’s most important cities. Sino-Ocean Taikoo Li, a cherished cultural and influential destination, is the ideal place for bringing together Louis Vuitton’s values of travel and innovation.
To mark Time Capsule Exhibition’s arrival in Chengdu, Louis Vuitton has chosen to highlight several pieces with references to the connection between Louis Vuitton and China. The trunk for artist Xu Bing was crafted to house his calligraphy tools and is carefully adorned in a version of the celebrated Monogram canvas. Another special tea trunk was imagined by Wang Jun Qing of the Wang De Chuan Tea House, to celebrate the art of tea tasting, while the Mahjong box was created by Louis Vuitton for the popular Chinese game. The exhibit is also an opportunity to share little-known stories about renowned Chinese, for example the 1930’s Socialite Madame Koo proclaims her fondness for the brand in her personal diaries where she lauds her many trunks between tales of politics and parties. Also on display are the custom order documents of Leslie Cheung, Hollywood actress Anna May Wong, as well as a briefcase belonging to internationally-known architect Ieoh Ming Pei, among others.

With this new High Jewelry Collection, Louis Vuitton pays tribute to the powerful vision that impelled so many medieval heroines to forge their own destiny.
Medieval heroines, as embodiments of the values of determination and independence, served as inspiration for Louis Vuitton's new High Jewelry Collection: Riders of the Knights. The over fifty pieces tell stories of women who make their mark on the world they inhabit and shape their own fate. This new Collection achieves an immersive aesthetic drawn from medieval codes of chivalry and heraldic crests.
Glittering gems and diamonds create a luminous choreography on "Le Royaume", "La Cavalière", "La Reine", and "L'Intuition" necklaces, rings, earrings and more. A wealth of details distinguishes this new opus, attesting to such virtuosity as only the most accomplished jewelers possess. Each of these figurative pieces tells a story where Louis Vuitton's many creative facets find expression - whether it is in the architectural simplicity of a fortress, the luminescent transience of intuition, or the protective aura of a talisman.High Jewellery Precious Stones
