  • JEAN-MICHEL BASQUIAT AT FONDATION LOUIS VUITTON: LAST DAYS

    Current exhibition “Jean-Michel Basquiat” is extended until Monday 21 January 2019

    Thanks to the generosity of the lenders and in response to the event’s popularity among the public, the Fondation Louis Vuitton has announced that its exhibition “Jean-Michel Basquiat” will be extended for a further week, until Monday 21 January 2019. The work of Jean-Michel Basquiat, one of the most significant painters of the 20th century, is spread over four levels of Frank Gehry’s building. The exhibition covers the painter’s whole career, from 1980 to 1988, focusing on 120 defining works.

    On the occasion of the 76th Golden Globe Awards, several Friends of the House were dressed in custom Louis Vuitton.

    On Sunday, January 7th, 2019, four Golden Globes attendees wore Louis Vuitton to the 76th edition of the famed Awards Show held at the Beverly Hills Hotel in Los Angeles. House Ambassador Emma Stone, nominated for her role "The Favorite", graced the red carpet in a custom made embroidered gown by Nicolas Ghesquière, as well as earrings and rings from the Louis Vuitton High Jewelry Collection. Timothée Chalamet, also a nominee, wore a custom look that included an embroidered bib. Also in Louis Vuitton were actresses Laura Harrier, in a custom gown, and Indya Moore, in a look from the Spring-Summer 2019 Collection by Nicolas Ghesquiere.

  • MEN'S SPRING-SUMMER 2019 POP-UP

    Louis Vuitton opens pop-up spaces in New York, Tokyo, Shanghai, Beijing, Miami, Milan, London and Moscow, specially designed for Virgil Abloh’s début collection as Men’s Artistic Director.

    A yellow brick road, a field of red poppies, an emerald green forest… The colourful World of Oz that inspired the Men's Spring-Summer 2019 Collection has been brought to life in different pop-up spaces around the world. Presented this past summer on a rainbow runway at the Palais Royal in Paris, the collection was Virgil Abloh's first as Louis Vuitton's Men's Artistic Director. From January 10th 2019, and for a limited time only, visitors are invited to discover the new ready-to-wear, accessories, and leather goods through a distinctly prismatic lens.

    Louis Vuitton unveils the new Campaign photographed by Collier Schorr at Le Bristol Paris Hotel.

    One of the most legendary destinations in Paris is the backdrop for Louis Vuitton’s latest Women’s Collection. For Spring-Summer 2019, Nicolas Ghesquière chose to take his multi-layered silhouettes to the storied Le Bristol Paris Hotel. From bright 80s-inspired prints to metallic floral jacquards or boldly oversized tailoring, the Collection brings a new dimension to the historic hotel interiors.
