This spring, Michelle Williams is back with new colours available for the ever stylish and timeless Capucines handbag.

Photographed once again by Peter Lindbergh, and styled by Carine Roitfeld, these shots manifest the actress’ true sensibility and delicate fragility with shades of reminiscences in her expression.

An air of vintage Parisian elegance that suits her perfectly, as she has just finished acting in Suite Française, based on the award-winning novel by Irène Némirovsky and centred on a romance during the early years of the German occupation of France.

Made of the full-grain with light touch Taurillon leather, the Capucines comes in new shades - Cobalt, Bleu Electrique, Rose Azalée and Vert Jade – and in a mini version with a removable long strap for a more casual effect. Contrasted calf leather lining or a python leather handle also bring a fashionable touch to the refined tote.

The Louis Vuitton Women Summer 2014 collection offers a new refreshing twist to essential pieces of ready-to-wear, leather goods, shoes and accessories.

Slim Aaron’s famous photographs of international jet setters from the 60’s inspired the whole Summer 2014 collection. “Photographing attractive people doing attractive things in attractive places” was Aaron’s statement. From there, fresh summer looks in pastel shades have been designed to suit both the most refined and relaxed tastes.

Above, a selection of the key pieces: a bikini top with 60’ panties in pastel colours to highlight the tan, a cotton silk tunic dress to wear on the beach and a fluid feminine dress for a more city look.

Also, for the first time in a Summer collection, the iconic Epi line is enhanced using a bright colour palette. To finish the silhouette, discover the comfortable flat espadrilles and elegant calf leather wedge sandals.

Parisian visual artist André Saraiva sent us a postcard to celebrate his collaboration with Louis Vuitton on the Spring Summer scarves collection.

For this new collaboration with Louis Vuitton André Saraiva used his studio drop cloth as the inspiration for the background of his interpretation of the House’s Monogram shawl. Once he had translated his paint spatters to the luxurious silk and wool wrap, it became a natural habitat for ‘Mr. A’, the artist’s signature character with asymmetrical eyes, who inhabits the walls and art galleries of Paris as well as many other international cities.

Born in 1971, he considered from a very young age that the walls belonged to him. « When I arrived in Paris in 1981, it was obvious to me that the street would become my school, my studio. Graffiti is a way of challenging the domination of the City on individuals, a way to own it ».

André Saraiva lives and works between Paris, New York and Los Angeles and is currently the Creative Director of French magazine L'Officiel Hommes. His artworks are presented in galleries across the world, from Paris to New York, Saint-Tropez, Stockholm, Los Angeles and Tokyo.

  • "FOULARDS D’ARTISTES", STREET ART ACROSS THE GLOBE

This spring, Louis Vuitton continues its world tour of the vibrant street art scene by inviting three new artists from three different continents to collaborate on its collections of scarves.

Californian artist Kenny Scharf is a remarkable figure of New York early eighties’ art scene in the fields of painting, sculpture, and performance, alongside iconic artists like Keith Haring. Pursuing his on-going process of connecting fine arts and pop culture, he has covered Louis Vuitton’s giant silk crepe square with a colourful collage of astronomic motifs and symbols on a blurred psychedelic background.

For André Saraiva, his studio drop cloth was the inspiration for the background of his interpretation of Louis Vuitton’s Monogram shawl. Once he had translated his paint spatters to the luxurious silk and wool wrap, it became a natural habitat for ‘Mr. A’, the artist’s signature character, his asymmetrical eyes character, who inhabits the walls and art galleries of Paris as well as in many other international cities.

True to his name, derived from the Inca sun god, INTI is inspired by ancestral Andean culture, which he transcribes in brightly coloured, monumental works. He revisits the giant square with a sun motif Infused with warm shades of gold and orange, referencing the image of ‘Wiracocha’, god of TIWANAKU culture.
