Bordered by a lavish garden of wildflowers, the store's façade echoes Louis Vuitton's iconic monogram flowers and blows a breath of springtime in the space. Adorned with bright latticework panels, the transparent walls open the interior to the exterior and invite clients to immerse themselves in Louis Vuitton’s history. The modular architecture and the combination of diverse materials and textures render the space elegant and contemporary, while the subtle use of Louis Vuitton leather reflects the Maison's savoir-faire.
Artworks and hand-picked designer furniture are featured throughout the space to complement the interior architecture. Local elements from Dutch designer Dirk Vander Kooij, as well as vintage furniture from the 1950s by Louis van Teeffelen and Friso Kramer, can be found throughout the menswear space. A piece from Piet Hein Eek takes center stage of the womenswear universe which is also graced by a sunset photograph by Sølve Sundsbø.
The new store showcases all of Louis Vuitton's latest collections, including leather goods, small leather goods, shoes, accessories, and Les Parfums Louis Vuitton. For the first time in the Netherlands, the perfumed candle collection of fragrances for the home is available here. Clients can also discover the just-released Perfum de Cologne, California Dream, as well as Louis Vuitton's personalization services such as My LV Heritage and My LV World Tour. In addition, a special stamp has also been produced, paying tribute to Rotterdam and representing the Erasmus bridge. The stamp can be imprinted with the hot-stamping technique for leather goods in the menswear universe.
