Monogram Icons

To celebrate the 130th Monogram anniversary, icons that define Louis Vuitton’s heritage codes emerge as beacons of the House’s enduring spirit — showcasing the legacy of the Monogram with House Ambassadors and friends of the House Zendaya, Catherine Deneuve, Hoyeon, and Liu Yifei.

Le Monogram

In 1896, as Louis Vuitton’s innovative trunks gained unprecedented influence, Georges Vuitton sought a way to protect their integrity while expressing the House’s unique identity — designing an ornamental pattern of interlaced LV initials and stylized floral motifs. The Monogram was born.
For 130 years, it has remained a timeless testament to creativity and craftsmanship — transcending generations.

Monogram Emblème

Continuing to celebrate the iconic motif, the House unveils Monogram Emblème, a reinterpretation through jacquard — a tactile canvas that reveals the Monogram with depth, echoing the historic trunks of Louis Vuitton.

Monogram Anniversary Collections

Marking the return of the LVxTM collection, the 130th anniversary of the Monogram also unveils four exceptional capsules: Monogram Origine, VVN, Time Trunk, and Monogram Emblème. Blending a creative spirit with timeless elegance, each collection reflects a distinct facet of Louis Vuitton’s heritage.

The Heritage

Conceived amid Paris artistic bloom, the iconic design was created in tribute the Georges Vuitton's father in a fusion of inspirations from kitchen tiles in the family's Asnières home and Neo-Gothic art. Undeniably recognizable and destined to endure, it was continually renewed through dialogue with art and culture – a story in legacy.
