In 2025, Louis Vuitton is celebrating the World Expo 2025 Osaka Kansai with a season of events and launches specially dedicated to Japan, illuminated by major exhibitions and inspiring publications.
World Expo 2025 Osaka Kansai
At the heart of the French Pavilion, sponsored notably by LVMH, Louis Vuitton has written two declarations of love: to the art of craftsmanship and to Japan. Designed with Japanese architect Shohei Shigematsu-OMA, this immersive installation is centred around Rodin’s sculpture 'The Cathedral', in a room filled with 84 Wardrobe trunks. In the second room, a “trunk sphere” invites visitors on a sensory, dreamlike journey through a soundscape and walls brought to life by Daito Manabe’s video piece.

In an ode to the spirit of travel, the House expands its Louis Vuitton Librairie with two new titles: the Fashion Eye Osaka by Jean-Vincent Simonet and the City Guide Osaka with guest Verdy.
